Be sure to join us for PirateBox Camp 2015 in Berlin on the weekend of July 18th and 19th.
This year's camp will be hosted at the New York University Berlin Art Studios, located in the rear of the St. Agnes campus (map).
For this year, we plan to keep the agenda flexible and open with an emphasis on playful hacking & experimentation. As always, the camp will focus on the free and open exchange of knowledge and ideas. If you would like to present your project or idea during the camp, please post it to this forum thread.
Participation is free (as in freedom and beer!) for all. If you'd like to join the camp, please send a quick email to <camp[ut]piratebox.cc> And be sure to let us know if you'd like to make a presentation.
You need to experience it to really know! However, this is our third annual PirateBox Camp and you can learn more about past camps by visiting our PirateBox Camp 2014 and PirateBox Camp 2013 pages.
The primary language of the PirateBoxCamp is English, though some of the PirateBox team members speak other languages including German.
PirateBox Camp is always free.
Unfortunately not, you'll need to join us in person!
No, you're free to come and go as you please!
Camp participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas and to work with others at the camp to “hack” on them. These things can be anything from a simple customization to installing additional software or even updating the piratebox.cc website. The core development team will be available to answer questions and provide support in overcoming technical challenges. Free hacking working groups will be asked to make a small presentation at the end of the day so that they can share their ideas, accomplishments, failures, etc.
You can post your question to this forum thread. You may also use our irc channel as well, but please patient if your question isn't answered immediately.
